What I see in the carving of the elfin man and the bogart

3rd voussoir south west arch Image Paul Reeve

This photograph of the funny fellow with an acorn cap was taken in 2017. Norman Laird’s photo of 1968, which I am unable to publish owing to copyright, enables me to distinguish some of its details. The 2020 image shows the degree of weathering in the last few years.

3rd voussoir south west arch imagined from in front of him

On questioning my pareidolia, I have drawn the arm with the hand holding the disc belonging to the faun-like creature whose head is under the body of the elf and whose legs appear under his pointed beard. What are they doing?? Leap-frogging? Tumbling?
